About Summer Program
"I highly recommend it. Here at On the Edge they get to see the Heart of God in situations where they probably wouldn’t have seen it before."
"It's incredible to see the students' lives change from when they first arrive till when they leave!"
"On the edge has changed my life in such a significant way that could only be described as a miracle. The loving & patient staff comes alongside kids to teach them what it truly means to follow Christ even at a young age. I thank the Lord for leading me to this camp, and changing my life for the better."

What We Do
There will be five different classes that each student is required to complete. Upon completion of this program, each student will receive three credits, transferable to Calvary Chapel Bible College. Each class is taught by a collegiate-level teacher, yet is easily understandable for all ages.
Each student will room with a Counselor, Jr. Counselor and six other students. There will be ample time for students to receive one-on-one counsel and accountability throughout their stay.
Students will have opportunity to meet with the Lord through praise and worship everyday. Worship will be provided each morning before daily devotions and during outreaches.
Each student attends daily group devotions throughout the week. While we encourage students to develop their own devotional lives, group devotions will be led by On the Edge counselors and jr. counselors before classes begin.
Each student will be responsible to complete 15 hours of Christian Community Service (CCS). CCS opportunities include, but are not limited to: Elderly Home Care/Visits, Backdrop Painting, Pastor’s Home Landscaping, Community Car Washes, and Community trash pick up.
Workshops are practical classes specifically tailored to student’s interests. Students choose from a variety of different workshops they would like to participate in throughout the summer.
Our fourth week of On the Edge is dedicated to a short-term missions trip. Each student will be allowed to choose whether they would like to go to Mexico, stay locally on campus and participate in Vacation Bible School, St. George, Utah for VBS, or Bakersfield, CA . The Mexico Mission’s team will be coming alongside various ministries in Ensenada.
We have several special events & games throughout our five-week program. Each student will be required to participate in games (unless medically excused). These games are designed to encourage team unity, inspire students to work together, and have fun.
